American Express unveils ‘Experience UAE' campaign

ABU DHABI, November 1, 2014

American Express Middle East has launched its ‘Experience UAE’ campaign for the fourth successive year.

Designed to showcase the very best the UAE has to offer, this year’s program includes a range of exclusive offers specially negotiated with airlines, hotels, restaurants, shops, waterparks and spas.

Experience UAE is open to all American Express card members visiting the UAE till March 31, 2015. The offers include 15 per cent off best available room rates at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, Ajman Saray, a luxury collection resort in Ajman and The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, said a statement from American Express.

The package also includes shopping, dining, wellbeing and adventure offers with partners such as the noodle house, La Martina, House of Fraser Abu Dhabi, Talise Spa in Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi and Seawings Seaplane Tours.

Card members travelling to the UAE can also get up to 10 per cent savings on First, Business and Economy class fares when traveling with Etihad Airways, it added.   

“The UAE has become one of the ‘must-see’ destinations in global travel,” remarked Usman Arif, the vice president and country manager, American Express Middle East UAE.

“This year’s ‘Experience UAE’ program includes offers from world-class hotels and outstanding restaurants, as well as amazing shopping opportunities. We really hope it encourages more people than ever to visit and experience the United Arab Emirates.”

The campaign follows a recent survey from American Express Middle East which showed that more than two-thirds (68 per cent) of respondents from eight countries in the region chose Dubai as their number one destination for luxury shopping, while a further fifth (19 per cent) selected Abu Dhabi.
