Bahrain calls for trade boost with Britain

Bahrain's Premier has called for the need to bolster trade and economic co-operation with Britain. 
 
He urged more joint projects between Bahraini companies and their British counterparts, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
He said Bahrain welcomes British investments, in the light of opportunities and promising sectors available in the kingdom.
 
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa made the remarks as he received, at Gudaibiya Palace, British Ambassador Iain Lindsay, who submitted a report on the achievements and future plans of the Bahrain-UK Joint Working Group for 2014.
 
He affirmed the kingdom's desire to expand co-operation and co-ordination with the UK in various fields, noting that Bahrain is looking forward to availing of British expertise.
 
He underlined Bahrain's keen interest to constantly maintain the advanced level of its solid long-standing ties with Britain.
 
He lauded the pivotal role played by British experts in Bahrain's renaissance and progress, and expressed desire to increase their contribution.
 
Lindsay expressed his country's profound appreciation to Bahrain, led by the Premier, for supporting efforts to boost bilateral relations of friendship and co-operation by encouraging joint projects and motivating British companies to invest in the kingdom. - TradeArabia News Service
