Bahrain hails role of family businesses

Bahrain's Premier has hailed the role of family businesses in revitalising Bahrain's economy.
 
This came as he met separately, leading businessmen Hussain bin Ali Yateem and Mubarak bin Jassim Kanoo as part of his visit to Manama Suq, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
During his meeting with Yateem, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa highlighted the government's efforts to boost trade activities and reiterated full support for investors and leading business families to continue their vital role in spurring growth.
 
He paid tribute to veteran traders, who laid the foundations for Bahrain's economic growth, adding that citizens are now reaping the benefits of their hard work.
 
The Premier discussed with Kanoo, the growing business of the family and its role in Bahrain's development.
 
He hailed the role of family-owned companies, including the Kanoo Group, in supporting government-led initiatives to strengthen the kingdom's economy.
 
The Premier commended the vital trading role played by the Kanoo Group, describing them as a cornerstone of economic development and charity work in Bahrain.
 
The Yateem and Kanoo families hailed HRH the Premier's keenness on supporting business families, commending his fundamental role in Bahrain's economic success. - TradeArabia News Service
