
Qatar trade surplus narrows to $26bn in Q2

Qatar foreign trade surplus narrowed to QR94.4 billion ($25.9 billion) in the second quarter of 2012 from QR102.1 billion in the previous three months, according to preliminary data from the Qatar Statistics Authority.
The exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) dipped to QR49.2 billion in the April to June period from QR50 billion in the previous quarter, said the data released on Wednesday.-Reuters
