Al Baraka sponsors BAB’s IMF reception

Bahrain-based Al Baraka Banking Group has announced its sponsorship of the Bahrain Association of Bank’s (BAB) reception at the IMF / World Bank annual meetings to be held in Tokyo in October.

The bank’s sponsorship is earmarked specifically to support BAB’s travel and gifts costs.

The IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings to be held from October 12 to 14 are a prestigious forum of international cooperation on financial and economic issues and are attended by hundreds of global financial leaders and banking delegations and decision makers from all over the world to discuss the most relevant issues facing the banking and the financial industries.

The BAB reception will showcase Bahrain’s role as the premier centre in the Gulf for banking and finance.

Adnan Ahmed Yousif, president & chief executive of Al Baraka Banking Group, said: "We are very pleased to be sponsoring the prestigious reception organised by Bahrain Association of Banks in Tokyo as it is held during the world's most influential international gathering.”
