Key Kuwait bank post for Bahraini woman

Kuwait International Bank has announced the approval of Central Bank of Kuwait for the appointment of Nasreen Al-Qaseer as the general manager for risk management department.
Al Qaseer is the first Bahraini woman to be appointed in such a position, a bank statement said.
It said: “Ms Al-Qaseer has the skills, the background and experience required for this position.”
Al-Qaseer has extensive banking experience which has been acquired through over 26 years of working in GCC banks and financial institutions. She specialises in a number of areas, including managing credit, market and operational risk, as well as experience in combating money laundering. – TradeArabia News Service
