Erth Hospitality implements food waste composting system

Erth has activated its Food Waste Composter (Waste Master System) in October, marking a step in sustainability.

Since its activation, the system has processed over 1,150 kilograms of food waste into nutrient-rich compost for landscaping use.

This initiative diverts waste from landfills and highlights Erth's leadership in sustainable hospitality.

The composter is a key part of Erth's strategy to incorporate eco-friendly practices across its operations, enhancing both waste management and guest experiences.

Clarke Tomlinson, Chief Operating Officer of Erth Abu Dhabi, stated, “At Erth Hospitality, sustainability is deeply woven into our identity as an Emirati brand. The activation of the Food Waste Composter is more than a technological upgrade — it’s a testament to our ongoing promise to operate responsibly, innovate continuously, and leave a positive legacy for future generations. By converting waste into valuable resources, we are proud to contribute to the UAE’s vision for a cleaner, more sustainable future.” -TradeArabia News Service
